Designated Gig Poster Design integrating Illustrator and Photoshop with the goal of marketing the event for a Raster and Vector Technologies class.
Before beginning the project the first step was to brainstorm all my ideas after hearing my teacher divulge what he expected out of the orientation of the poster.
After identifying the kind of elements I felt were pertinent to my specific design, I now had to curate thumbnails that would not only satisfy the requirements but also show my creativity by attacking the challenge of making the poster completely out of torn things: pieces of paper, solid objects, fabric, plastics, ephemera, or in my case CDs.
